Robert Fairbairn
Service & Project Delivery Manager
With over 25 years of industry experience, Rob brings a strategic and detail-oriented approach to service delivery and project execution. As Project Delivery Manager at Channel IP, he specialises in designing and managing high-efficiency, cost-controlled technology rollouts; ranging from single-site implementations to complex, multi-country deployments.
Rob’s career began hands-on, managing printer salvage operations and rebuilding toner and print hardware – an experience that laid the foundation for his deep technical insight. He progressed through technical roles, field servicing, logistics coordination, and leadership positions before stepping into service delivery and project management. This end-to-end exposure has given Rob an intimate understanding of both the mechanics and the movement of print technology. He combines that technical prowess with a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, ensuring every rollout is executed with precision, transparency, and minimal disruption.
His track record includes orchestrating major deployments, such as a 500-device rollout completed in just five weeks without logistical or cost overrun, and leading projects involving over 1,000 devices across hundreds of locations.
A self-proclaimed mix of sporty, nerdy, and a bit of a gamer, Rob brings energy, curiosity, and focus to every challenge – delivering not just results, but peace of mind.
